Masikuna is Australia’s premier Andean ensemble, performing traditional Indigenous South American music infused with contemporary influences. With over 30 years of international experience, its musicians have appeared at major festivals including WOMADelaide, Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Malaysia Rainforest World Music Festival, and were part of an ARIA-nominated World Music act in 2000. Performing as an intimate trio or expanding to a six-piece line-up, Masikuna delivers a powerful live experience featuring panpipes, quena, charango and Andean percussion, bringing the spirit and sound of the Andes to audiences across Australia and internationally.
